Your role

Give your students a clearer route to possibility.

The CCBA Job Fair is a coordinated OCI program. Career services teams help students understand registration, eligibility, bidding, employer selection, schedules, and the responsibility of honoring a confirmed interview.

Important sequence

Students cannot complete their participation until their law school has registered. The school’s Job Fair Liaison becomes the primary source of program guidance and verification support.

02

Register your school

Begin with school registration and a designated liaison.

01

Register the law school

CCBA will issue the 2027 school-registration instructions. Each participating school must complete this step before its students can be fully processed.

02

Confirm the registration fee

The 2027 law-school registration fee is $500, unchanged from 2026. Final payment instructions and deadlines will accompany the 2027 registration materials.

03

Name your Job Fair Liaison

Provide one clear point of contact for the school. Students should know the liaison’s name and email before they begin their individual registration.

03

Liaison responsibilities

Keep the process accurate, informed, and responsive.

01

Inform students

Distribute the 2027 student instructions, important dates, and your liaison contact details when CCBA provides them.

02

Verify eligibility

Help confirm that applicants attend the school listed in their profiles and meet the final 2027 participation criteria.

03

Confirm class year

Verify the applicant’s class year and projected graduation date after student registration closes.

04

Support attendance

Reinforce the importance of honoring a confirmed schedule and communicating quickly in the event of a genuine emergency.

04

Student verification

Registration is just the first checkpoint.

In the established CCBA process, the Job Fair Committee compiles school-specific participation lists for the designated liaison to review. The liaison confirms that each listed applicant is accurate and eligible before bidding and interview scheduling move forward.

Applicant readiness

Encourage students to use a reliable email address, submit current materials, and ask eligibility questions through the liaison before deadlines arrive.

Matching expectations

Employers—not an on-site matching process—select the students they want to interview. Students receive schedules after the employer-selection process.

05

Program standards

Professional access requires shared accountability.

The Job Fair Committee maintains a policy against discrimination in employment based on age, sex, sexual orientation, race, disability, veteran status, or national origin. Participating employers’ practices are expected to align with that commitment.

Confirmed interviews matter. Unexplained no-shows create a burden for employers and can affect future participation. Help students understand that cancellations should be limited to genuine emergencies and handled through the proper process.
